Every ember begins with a spark. For us, it was the quiet realization that our parents’ lives held stories we’d never fully heard-beyond the familiar anecdotes, there was a deeper legacy waiting to be uncovered.

As our parents aged, Felicia began recording our father’s story. Over several months, she captured his voice while our mother sat beside him, their memories intertwining in real time. When we shared the videos with our siblings, something shifted. We laughed, cried, and discovered parts of our family history we never knew. A new bond formed-organic, unforced, and rooted in shared memory.

Inspired, our brother began shaping those recordings into chapters using his gift for storytelling. What began as a family project soon drew the attention of friends and loved ones who asked, “Can you help us do this too?”

That’s how Ember Line Stories was born—from a kitchen-table recording to a sacred calling. We now help others preserve their own glowing legacies, one story at a time.
